Description
The Hardening compliance analyst will support the team to understand hardening compliance gaps by setting up the initial configurations of the compliance measurement tool, creating new compliance measurement profiles and setting up the reports templates needed. You would play a key role in assisting the Security teams in consolidating the way/tool used to measure hardening compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Assessment of hardening compliance gaps identified by the hardening compliance scans
• Evaluate, rate and perform risk assessments on assets by creating new report templates
• Prioritizing remediation of gaps discovered along with remediation timeline(s)
• Work with associated teams to explain gaps and remediation steps as required.
• Create reports and provide analysis on gaps for technical teams and leadership
• Experience with Nessus and Qualys
• Writing and presentation skills
Duration:Possibility of extensions. No opportunity for FTE conversion
Location: Fully remote position. Candidates must be located in Mexico
Shift: Regular business hours, Monday-Friday. No travel required
Must Haves:
- 3-5 years of vulnerability management/hardening compliance experience
- Hands on experience configuring a hardening compliance measurement tool
- 3-5 years of information technology experience
- Strong understanding of vulnerability scanning and reporting
- Experience extracting and processing reports
- Previous experience engaging remediation teams
- Bilingual in both English/Spanish (strong written & verbal skills)
Plusses: - Previous experience as a Systems Admin hardening Windows/Linux systems
